Cheapest Ticket For Knicks vs Celtics Game 3 Listed At $840

The New York Knicks and their fans have been waiting for a moment like this one for decades. They’ve shocked the Boston Celtics (and the world) by completing two 20+ point comebacks to take a 2-0 series lead against the reigning champions, and they’ll be flying home to play inside Madison Square Garden for Games 3 and 4.
Game 3 Features Most Expensive Knicks Ticket Ever
Getting in to see the game live will cost more than any Knicks game ever. According to the prices on some of the secondary marketplaces, the cheapest available ticket to Saturday’s game is listed at $840. It is easily the most expensive ticket of any NBA game this season, and ranks as the priciest get-in cost of any Knicks game ever.
The figure is provided by TickPick. That price of ission is for seats that are in one of the highest sections in the stadium, within the top 5 rows of the venue.
Prices for the lower bowl are even more outrageous. For example, there is currently one ticket listed as available in section 116, which is across from the Knicks bench. The seat is in row 21, and carries a current price tag of $2,296.

The hefty costs don’t come as much of a surprise. The Knicks have one of the largest and most ionate fan bases in the sport, and haven’t been given much to cheer about over the past 25 years. And while they took the Indiana Pacers to seven games in the second round last year, New York hasn’t advanced past the conference semi-finals since the 1999-2000 NBA season.
And despite that entertaining series in 2024, this season’s happenings are an even more interesting draw. The Celtics are coming off of a title season in 2023-24, and have been considered one of the two heavy favorites to win it all again this year. The fashion in which the Knicks have stolen the first two games of the current series has the basketball world buzzing, and Madison Square Garden will be the epicenter of it all come this weekend.
Game 3 is set to tip off at 3:30PM Eastern Time on Saturday afternoon. Boston will enter the game as a solid favorite, as the opening line has them listed at -5.5.
