The Tee Higgins. How much will each receiver make? Below are contract extension predictions for Chase and Higgins.

Bengals Make ‘Significant Progress’ On Extensions For WRs

Joe Burrow is going to be a very happy quarterback.

Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Bengals have made “significant progress” on contract extensions for Chase and Higgins.

Chase is heading into the fifth year of his rookie contract, while Higgins is on his second franchise tag.

Both wide receivers make the Bengals’ ing offense one of the best in the NFL.

Chase, 25, is coming off a historic season, becoming the sixth wide receiver in the Super Bowl era to win the triple crown.

Chase led the league in receptions (127), yards (1,708), and touchdowns (17).

Higgins, 26, also had a career year in 2024. Despite missing five games, Higgins had 73 catches for 911 yards and a career-best 10 touchdowns.

Chase and Higgins have expressed frustrations with their current deals. That resentment is about to end once the deals are signed.

Ja’Marr Chase & Tee Higgins Extension Predictions

With extensions on the way, how much money will Chase and Higgins make on the new deals?

Last month, Duke Tobin, the Bengals’ director of player personnel, said Chase would become the highest-paid non-QB.

“He is going to end up being the No. 1 paid non-quarterback in the league,” Tobin said. “We’re there. Let’s get it done. The earlier we can do some of this stuff, the freer it gives us to build the rest of the team.”

According to Rapaport, Tobin is likely going to keep his word. Chase is expected to sign a contract averaging between $40.1 million and $41 million, suring Cleveland’s Myles Garrett’s record-breaking $40 million annually.

Higgins won’t make nearly as much, but the talented receiver will still get a significant pay raise. Higgins is expected to make just shy of $30 million annually.

Once Chase and Higgins sign their deals, Cincinnati can work toward re-g edge rusher Trey Hendrickson.
