Big Ten Football Ticket Prices For The 2025 Season
Four of the twelve teams that qualified for the 2025 College Football Playoff came from the Big Ten Conference, including Oregon, Indiana, and Penn State. The Ohio State Buckeyes began the CFP as the 8th-seeded team in the tournament, but were able to win four games in the span of a month in order to secure their first National Championship title since 2014.

Northwestern is next on the list with an average cost of $193.90, which is actually down 14% in 2025. Part of the reason that the Wildcats have expensive tickets despite a 4-8 record in 2024 is the fact that they are playing home games inside of a much smaller venue while Ryan Field continues with its renovations.
Ohio State ($175.70) is next on the list, followed by USC ($124.10), UCLA ($113), and Michigan State ($111.70). On the other end of the spectrum, Purdue ($28.90) and Maryland ($30) have the cheapest average get-in price to attend home games this season.
The average get-in price for the entire Big Ten football season is $101.06 on the secondary market, up 36.9% overall since 2024.
Average Get-In Price For Big Ten Conference Football Games
Attending the Big House is even pricier during the conference season. Michigan fans can expect to pay an average of $270.50 to watch the Wolverines host a fellow Big Ten opponent, 25% higher than the next team and 87% higher than conference-rival Ohio State ($144.80), which ranks fifth on the list.
Northwestern football ticket prices jump to an average of $226.60 when conference opponents are in town. That figure is 49% more expensive than USC and 56.5% pricier than Ohio State. USC ($151.80), Michigan State ($150) are also among the teams with the most expensive tickets and cheap tickets aren’t exactly hard to come by. In total, 13 of the 18 Big Ten teams have an average get-in price of $90 or more for Big Ten games in 2025.
Overall, the average Big Ten conference game has a get-in price of $116.90 in 2025.
Fans looking to travel on the road to watch their favorite team in action can find the cheapest get-in ticket prices at Purdue ($36.80), Maryland ($47.30) and Illinois ($55).
Most Expensive Big Ten Football Games in 2025
Even with all the new of the Big Ten, the marquee conference matchup will be the regular season finale between Ohio State and Michigan. The newest chapter in the storied rivalry will be played on Saturday, November 29th in Ann Arbor, and it has the most expensive ticket cost of any Big Ten game overall in 2025.
The get-in price is listed at $629, which is up 61.6% compared to last year and 102% costlier than the next-highest conference game on the list (Northwestern vs. Michigan, $311).
It is the only home Wolverines home game that is in the top-10 of most expensive games, but the Wolverines are still a major draw on the road. Of the 10 priciest games in the conference, Michigan will be playing in five of them, including four road games. Ohio State appears in the top-10 three times while Northwestern is hosting three of the priciest games, more than any other team.
Cheapest Big Ten Football Tickets In 2025
The team that it is most cost-effective to see play live this coming season is the Illinois Fighting Illini. Of their 12 scheduled games for 2025, five of them rank among the 10 cheapest Big Ten football games. The Purdue Boilermakers and Washington Huskies each host three of the 10 cheapest games, more than any other team. Purdue actually appears five times on the list, including an $18 price tag for their October 25th matchup against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
Meanwhile, Washington, which is two seasons removed from a National Championship appearance, will have some of the cheapest games of the Big Ten season. Of the ten least-expensive Big Ten contests, four of them feature the Huskies, three of those being at home. All four games can be attended for less than $40 apiece.
Most Expensive Non-Conference Games In 2025
The Opening Weekend matchup between Ohio State and Texas will cost $466 to attend, the highest price of any non-conference game. That number is 35.8% more expensive than the USC vs. Notre Dame game ($343). Last season, the Fighting Irish punched their ticket into the College Football Playoff with a 49-35 victory over the Trojans in the regular season finale.
The next-most expensive games on the non-conference schedule are interstate rivalries. The third game on the price list is Iowa State vs Iowa, which carries a tag of $304. It is the costliest game of the year for the Hawkeyes. In the fourth spot is the September 20th matchup between Washington and Washington State ($228).
Meanwhile, Oklahoma and Michigan end off the list with a $220 price tag, which is actually reasonably priced when compared to some of the Wolverines’ other games.
