Arizona Cardinals Draft Picks

After a 4-13 season in 2023, the Cardinals doubled their win total last year to finish 8-8.

2025 marks year three under Jonathan Gannon. This will be a make-or-break year for not only Gannon but also quarterback Kyler Murray. Can the former No. 1 pick get the Cardinals to the postseason for the first time since 2021?

The Cardinals have six draft picks, including the No. 16 pick.

  • Round 1: No. 16
  • Round 2: No. 47
  • Round 3: No. 78
  • Round 4: No. 115
  • Round 5: No. 152
  • Round 7: No. 225 (from New York Jets through Kansas City)

2025 NFL Draft: Arizona’s Team Needs

Defensive Line

As a former defensive coordinator, Gannon knows the importance of having an effective front seven.

The top priority for the Cardinals heading into free agency was the defensive line. Arizona made several key acquisitions, including edge rusher Josh Sweat, defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson, and defensive end Calais Campbell.

Even with these gs, the Cardinals should still want to add another edge rusher early in this draft.

Offensive Line

The Cardinals have spent draft capital on offensive linemen the past few seasons, including Paris Johnson Jr. and Isaiah Adams.

Right tackle might be a position of concern, with Jonah Williams returning from a knee injury.

Bringing another offensive lineman to compete for a starting job is probably a smart idea.

Wide Receiver

Arizona found its future No. 1 wide receiver last year when they drafted Marvin Harrison Jr.

Tight end Trey McBride has emerged as one of the best tight ends in the league after 111 receptions and 1,146 yards a season ago.

Right now, Michael Wilson, Zay Jones, or Greg Dortch would be the No. 2 receiver. Arizona must find a catcher in the draft.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Cardinals

  • Round 1: No. 16 – Michigan DB Will Johnson
  • Round 2: No. 47 – Missouri WR Luther Burden III
  • Round 3: No. 78 – Texas OT Cameron Williams
  • Round 4: No. 115 – South Carolina Edge Kyle Kennard
  • Round 5: No. 152 – West Virginia OG Wyatt Milum
  • Round 7: No. 225 (from New York Jets through Kansas City) – UCLA DT Jay Toia

The 2025 NFL Draft is April 24–26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
