2025 NFL Schedule: YouTube Will Stream Week 1 Brazil Game For Free

The 2025 NFL schedule will feature a Week 1 game in Brazil that will stream exclusively on YouTube.

YouTube Will Stream Week 1 Game

The NFL partnered with YouTube TV for NFL Sunday Ticket. Now, the social media platform will get a game in 2025.

The NFL announced on Tuesday that YouTube will exclusively stream the Friday night Week 1 game of the 2025 NFL season. The Sept. 5 game will be played in São Paulo, Brazil.

This marks the first time in NFL history that an entire game will be streamed live and for free on YouTube.

“We are excited to expand our relationship with YouTube to bring this year’s Brazil game to a worldwide audience,” said Hans Schroeder, NFL executive vice president of media distribution. “YouTube and YouTube TV have been incredible partners of the NFL for several years and boast an immense global reach, and we look forward to Week 1 in São Paulo.”

The Los Angeles Chargers will be the designated home team in Brazil. Their opponent will be announced on Wednesday, May 14, during the 2025 NFL Schedule powered by AWS special at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network.

NFL Continues International Expansion In 2025

The Brazil game signals the first international game of the 2025 season. Week 1 will feature a Friday night game in Brazil for the second consecutive year.

The 2024 season featured the Philadelphia Eagles defeating the Green Bay Packers 34-29 in the Week 1 opener in Brazil.

The 2025 NFL season will feature seven international games, including the one in Brazil.

The international breakdown — three games in London, one in Brazil, one in Ireland, one in , and one in Spain.

The Minnesota Vikings are the first team in NFL history to play back-to-back international games in different countries. The Vikings will play against the Steelers in Ireland, followed by a game in London with the Cleveland Browns.
