There is plenty of elite talent to be had in the top-10 of the Shedeur Sanders or Ashton Jeanty.

3 Teams Who Could Trade Up Into The Top-10 Of The 2025 NFL Draft

Below, we take a look at three NFL teams who are candidates for a trade up:

Pittsburgh Steelers

If the Steelers want to draft Shedeur Sanders badly enough, they may have to jump ahead of the Saints in order to do so. New Orleans is the overall favorite to be the ones to select the Colorado QB, and they would likely pull the trigger with the 9th overall pick.

That would force an interested team (like Pittsburgh) to have to jump up to at least the 8th spot in order to have a shot at picking Sanders. The Steelers are one of the likely candidates to do so, but don’t necessarily have the firepower and assets to get a deal done. They only have two picks in the top 122 this year, meaning they’d have to dig into next year’s draft capital in order to propose a worthwhile swap.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos are looking to surround quarterback Bo Nix with some elite weapons through the draft, and they are widely projected to select a wide receiver or running back with the 20th overall pick. But don’t be surprised to see them attempt to move up into the top-10, especially if they are high on one of the elite NFL prospects this year.

Ashton Jeanty is one of the best running back prospects that we have seen in recent years, and Denver is in desperate need of a playmaker in the backfield. But is any running back worth the price tag of moving up from no.20 all the way to no.5?

Dallas Cowboys

For reasons similar to the Broncos, the Cowboys could be one of the teams looking to move into the top-10 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Always looking to make a splash, Jerry Jones and company may covet someone like Jeanty, or perhaps one of the top wide receiver prospects in this year’s class.

Could Dallas entice a team like the Jets by sending over the 12th overall pick with a second round pick attached in order to move up into the 7 slot?
