The Charles Schwab Challenge purse has grown steadily in recent years, reflecting its prestige and continued importance on the PGA Tour schedule. Since 2023, the total purse has increased by 13%, rising from $8.7 million to $9.5 million in 2025.
Despite not being designated as a signature event, the tournament received a $400,000 boost in prize money this year alone.The Charles Schwab Challenge holds historic significance and strong sponsor backing.
