Wales Vs England Preview, Prediction, Team News And Predicted Lineups Ahead Of Six Nations Clash In Cardiff
Here’s our Wales Vs England preview, prediction, team news and confirmed lineups ahead of Saturday’s Six Nations round five match at the Principality Stadium.
Wales Vs England Preview
One of the biggest rivalries in world rugby is renewed this weekend, as Wales host England in Cardiff for the final round of this year’s Six Nations.
Wales are bottom of the table, having lost all four of their other matches so far.
But since appointing interim coach Matt Sherratt, they have improved drastically in the previous two rounds.
Narrow defeats to Ireland and Scotland will have lifted spirits, and they will back themselves to stop their record 16-game losing streak by beating England.
Steve Borthwick’s side travel to Cardiff knowing a win could see them crowned champions, if fail to beat Scotland.
But first, they must negotiate past a rejuvenated Wales team that are long overdue a victory.
Ahead of Saturday’s game, the best UK rugby betting sites have England as the favourites, at 2/7/
Meanwhile, Wales are 37/10 outsiders, despite the match taking place in Cardiff.

The Scarlets’ Joe Roberts and Dragons back row Aaron Wainwright come in as Matt Sherratt makes two changes to the starting lineup for Wales against England.
Roberts will make his first test start on the wing in place of the injured Tom Rogers.
This is despite playing his entire professional career in the centres before impressing off the bench against Scotland last weekend.
Wainwright starts ahead of Tommy Reffell, who drops to the bench, with Nick Tomkins also back among the replacements.

England make a number of changes following the win against Italy on Sunday.
Ollie Lawrence’s injury means Tommy Freeman moves in one position to 13, with Elliot Daly on the wing.
On the other wing, Sale Sharks’ Tom Roebuck starts, with Ollie Sleightholme dropped despite scoring against the Azzurri.
Marcus Smith comes back into the starting XV at fullback, so veteran George Ford makes the bench for the first time this tournament.
In the forwards, Ben Curry starts alongside brother Tom on the flanks, with Ben Earl shifting back to number eight and Tom Willis dropping out.
Jamie George earns a rest on the bench after winning his 100th cap last weekend, so Luke Cowan-Dickie returns to the starting lineup.
Young flanker Henry Pollock is in line for his test debut as a replacement.

Wales Vs England Prediction
Wales have looked a totally different team under interim boss Matt Sherratt.
They have run both Ireland and Scotland close in recent weeks, and will be desperate to end their losing run against arch rivals England.
We therefore expect another step up in Welsh performance, but think England might still have just about enough for victory, though not with a bonus point.
Prediction: Wales 20-26 England
