Alexander Volkanovski vs Diego Lopes is almost upon us as it headlines UFC 314 on Saturday night, April 12. The UFC Featherweight Title is on the line in the main event of the next UFC pay-per-view show, with several other highly competitive fights also on the rest of the main card and prelims.

When Is UFC 314? Alexander Volkanovski vs Diego Lopes Headlines On April 12th

The next UFC pay-per-view event is just around the corner as Alexander Volkanovski vs Diego Lopes headlines UFC 314 on Saturday, April 12 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

Not only does this compelling UFC Featherweight Title contest headline UFC 314, but there are several other 50/50 fights on the bill prior to the big one in the main event.

The vacant UFC Featherweight Title is on the line here, with Ilia Topuria officially vacating the 145-pound belt as he moves up to lightweight. This means Volkanovski has the chance to become a two-time UFC champion, meanwhile Lopes has been granted his maiden shot at UFC gold.

Alexander Volkanovski’s next fight against Diego Lopes is simply a must win. ‘The Great’ has lost his last two fights back-to-back to Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria, but still remains a marginal favourite with online bookmakers to just have enough to defeat the Brazilian.

UFC President Dana White is serving up a treat for fans with the fourth pay-per-view event of 2025. What a treat MMA fans are in for as one of the former pound-for-pound star Alexander Volkanovski tops the bill at the Kaseya Center on April 12!

Michael Chandler vs Paddy Pimblett Confirmed As UFC 314 Co-Main Event, Pitbull Makes UFC Debut On UFC 314 Main Card

Although Alexander Volkanovski vs Diego Lopes is headlining UFC 314 for the UFC Featherweight Title, the co-main event is a quite remarkable fight too in itself. Former UFC Lightweight Title challenger Michael Chandler faces popular Liverpudlian Paddy Pimblett.

This is undoubtedly a massive step up for ‘The Baddy’, who has never fought anyone on Chandler’s level. That being said, the fight is compelling and most definitely regarded a close 50/50 affair. The best UFC betting sites in the UK are giving the edge to Pimblett, but only just.

This is a cracking fight in the co-main event at UFC 314, and is arguably a main event in itself on another UFC Fight Night show. Several other big names feature on the UFC 314 card, including the likes of Patricio Pitbull, Bryce Mitchell, Yair Rodriguez, Jim Miller and Dominick Reyes to name but a few.

What a card we have on our hands at UFC 314 – the next UFC PPV on Saturday, April 12 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida! Check out the full card below.
