Arsenal Fans React Angrily As Martin Odegaard Looks Set To Miss NLD After Suffering Injury For Norway

The latest Martin Odegaard injury update strongly indicates the Arsenal captain will miss the north London derby against Tottenham. 

Odegaard suffered an ankle sprain whilst representing Norway in the UEFA Nations League against Austria on September 9. He was carried off the pitch which left Gunners ers furious.

“Martin Ødegaard’s injury looked bad in the dressing room as well,” said Norway boss Ståle Solbakken. Even club doctor Ola Sand explained that more tests will need to be carried out.

“He got a small ankle sprain. We will see, maybe we use ultrasound to look at it. If we are unsure, there will be an MRI tomorrow (September 10).”

If the results come back as feared, Odegaard will the likes of Mikel Merino, Ricardo Calafiori, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines.

Declan Rice is also ruled out via suspension for his sending off against Brighton before the international break. Therefore, the likes of Leandro Trossard and Raheem Sterling will almost certainly feature against Tottenham.
