Ahead of Saturday’s clash at the London Stadium, we bring you the West Ham Vs Brentford preview, prediction, latest team news and confirmed lineups.

West Ham Vs Brentford Preview

Graham Potter and West Ham have so far been unable to benefit from the ‘new manager bounce’ that so often seems to occur when Premier League sides replace managers.

Since Potter took over from Julen Lopetegui, just four points have been ed in as many top flight games. The Hammers also crashed out of the FA Cup in the third round.

Last time out, Potter saw his troops take the lead at Chelsea before succumbing to a 2-1 defeat. Jarrod Bowen scored the opener before Pedro Neto and an Aaron Wan-Bissaka own goal won it for the Blues.

Interestingly, Potter is yet to taste defeat against Saturday’s opponents. In the six games he has overseen, he has won five times and drawn the other.

Only time will tell if he can be the lucky omen once again. The East Londoners are desperate for the points as they aim to climb the table.

After their 13 day break, Brentford are back in action as they travel across the capital. Last time out, Tottenham inflicted another home defeat on the Bees.

Thomas Frank’s side are yet to win at the Gtech Community in all competitions in 2025. Therefore, an away visit to West Ham will provide a minor relief as they aim to get back on track.

Especially as the West Londoners have won their last two top-flight games on the road. Crystal Palace were beaten 2-1 at Selhurst Park on January 26 and Southampton 5-0 on January 4.

In the reverse fixture against the Hammers, the points were shared in a 1-1 draw. Bryan Mbeumo scored in the opening minute before Tomas Soucek equalised in the second-half.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, the best football betting sites in the UK make West Ham the 6/4 favourites. Brentford can be backed at 19/10 with the draw 45/17.

West Ham Vs Brentford Team News

New g Evan Ferguson is in line for his West Ham debut but may have to do so from the bench. Even though Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio and Crysencio Summerville are out injured.

Lucas Paqueta, Edson Alvarez and Jean-Clair Todibo are all available after their recent fitness concerns. The latter will likely start on the bench alongside Ferguson.

Meanwhile, Brentford will still be without Aaron Hickey, Igor Thiago, Gustavo Nunes, Rico Henry and Josh Dasilva. Goalkeeper Mark Flekken is rated 50/50 to make his return.

On-loan defender Michael Kayode could make his full debut at right-back. The 20-year-old Italian got 18 minutes of action in the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham.

West Ham Vs Brentford Confirmed Lineups

West Ham (3-4-2-1): Areola; Emerson, Kilman, Mavropanos; Wan-Bissaka, Alvarez, Soucek, Soler; Kudus, Paqueta; Bowen

Brentford (4-2-3-1): Flekken; Ajer, Collins, Van den Berg, Lewis-Potter; Norgaard, Janelt; Mbeumo, Damsgaard, Schade; Wissa

West Ham Vs Brentford Prediction

Last season, West Ham won the corresponding fixture 4-2 but we are not predicting as many goals this time around. In fact, we are backing the points to be shared.

Expect a cagey affair at the London Stadium in a low-scoring draw.

Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Brentford
