Chelsea are exploring a move to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United in their search for a new winger.

According to a new update from David Ornstein, talks are at an early stage, but the 20-year-old is on Chelsea’s radar as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

Since making his debut in 2022, Alejandro Garnacho has become a key player for Manchester United, scoring 23 goals in 116 appearances. However, his future at Old Trafford is uncertain.

This season, Garnacho has fallen down the pecking order, notably being dropped by manager Ruben Amorim for the Manchester derby.

United recently rejected a £40 million bid from Napoli for Garnacho, with reports suggesting they are holding out for £60 million. Selling him would be pure profit for United, as he is a product of their academy.

Chelsea see Garnacho as a potential solution to their winger problems.

With Mykhailo Mudryk provisionally suspended after a positive drugs test and Christopher Nkunku possibly on the way out, the club is looking for an attacking addition.

Garnacho’s goal threat and Premier League experience make him an attractive target.

Jamie Gittens Also Under Consideration 1j2n3e

Alongside Garnacho, Chelsea are also looking at Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. The young English winger has impressed in and has caught the attention of several top clubs, including Bayern Munich.

Gittens offers bundles of pace, dribbling, and an ability to take on defenders, making him a strong option for Chelsea’s attack.

While no formal bid has been made, he remains a player of interest as Chelsea weigh their options.
