Scottie Scheffler Has More Wins Than The Panthers Since 2022

With the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, the hometown Carolina Panthers caught some strays from the PGA Tour’s social media.

Sunday’s victory at Quail Hollow is Scheffler’s 15th win on the PGA Tour since the start of 2022.

Scheffler’s 15 wins are more than the Panthers’ 14 wins during that same timeframe.

The PGA Tour social media s on X and Instagram pointed out this startling fact in now-deleted posts. “When in Charlotte,” read the caption.

The Athletic’s Joe Person noted that Panthers’ owner David Tepper is a member at Quail Hollow. Though it’s unconfirmed if Tepper had any role in getting the post taken down, it’s fair to say he was probably unhappy seeing the failures of his team on a golf .

Since Tepper became the owner in 2018, the Panthers have gone 36-80.

Scottie Scheffler Continues Run Of Dominance

Just when you think Scheffler can’t get any better, he wins the PGA Championship by five shots to earn his first Wanamaker Trophy.

Scheffler now has three majors and 15 PGA Tour wins before age 29. Only Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus can say they’ve achieved that feat.

Scheffler had notched six PGA Tour victories before the 2024 season, including the 2022 Masters.

That’s when Scheffler began his historic run of dominance.

Scheffler won seven tournaments in 2024, including the 2024 Masters and the 2024 Tour Championship. Scheffler also won the gold medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Scheffler’s win at the PGA Championship is his victory of the 2025 season.

The sky is the limit for Scheffler, who has shown no signs of slowing down.
