It was a feisty Monday morning for Beane on WGR’s The Jeremy & Joe Show.
Beane did not ease into his critiques; he came out firing and called out the radio hosts for their disapproval of the team’s wide receivers.
“I was just listening to the last few minutes of your show before I came on waiting on here,” Beane said. “It sounds like 2018 all over with you guys.”
“How so?” Jeremy White said. Beane cited how the Bills had one of the most prolific offenses in 2024, calling the hosts’ dissatisfaction with the wide receiver group “one of the dumbest arguments” ever.
“Well you guys were bitching in 2018 about Josh Allen, you wanted Josh Rosen and now you guys are bitching that we don’t have a receiver. I don’t get it,” Beane responded. “We just scored 30 points in a row for eight straight games. A year ago, I get you guys asking why we didn’t have receivers, but I don’t understand it now. You just saw us lead the league in points. When you add all the postseason [games], no one scored more points than the Buffalo Bills, including the Super Bowl champions.

We did that. So, I get it, you got to have a show, and you got to have something to bitch about, but bitching about wide receiver is one of the dumbest arguments I’ve heard.”

Buffalo lost Mack Hollins to the New England Patriots in free agency, while Amari Cooper remains unsigned.
While the Bills did not use high picks on wide receivers, the organization did walk away from the draft with two -catchers: Georgia tight end Jackson Hawes in the fifth round and Maryland wide receiver Kaden Prather in the seventh round.
