The Saints played there from 1975 to 2004, before the stadium was reconstructed between 2004-2006. In 2006 the Saints returned to their Superdome, and have played their home games here ever since.

Overall, the Caesars Superdome can actually hold up to a maximum capacity of 83,000 people. This would be for the likes of a concert where far less of the stadium is used as opposed to a huge football field, basketball court or even a WWE wrestling ring.

What Else Is The Stadium Used For?
As previously mentioned, the Superdome isn’t just a football stadium. It is a multi-purpose stadium that has been used for various different sports and events over the years.
Yes it is the home of the New Orleans Saints, but there has been basketball played there in the past, as well as huge WWE, tennis to name but a few other sports.
