The Pro Bowl is coming up for the league’s best players, but with some stars injured and others heading to the Super Bowl, there have been some late replacements to the line up.

Malik Nabers heading to Pro Bowl

With the Kansas City Chiefs heading to Super Bowl LIX in two weeks, there are lots of superstars who won’t be able to play in the Pro Bowl.

Players competing in the Super Bowl have skipped out on the Pro Bowl for years and this season will be no different with six of those named in the games opting to sit out.

Out of the nine players missing out on the games because of a Super Bowl appearance, there is just three Chiefs players  and six Eagles.

Of those missing the Pro Bowl, Saquon Barkley is without a doubt the most notable absentee. Barkley will be replaced by Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, who fell just 44 yards short of 1,500 rushing yards in the 2024 season.

Amon-Ra st. Brown is the only player who will miss the 2025 Pro Bowl with an injury, as the Detroit Lions wide receiver struggles with an ‘undisclosed knock’.

Replacing st. Brown in the Pro Bowl games will be an electrifying rookie, and Malik Nabers is bound to bring some excitement to the action in Florida after a sensational first season with New York.

Nabers scored seven touchdowns in his rookie year and his 1,204 receiving yards was enough to earn the 21-year-old a place on the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year final shortlist.
