HBO’s Hard Knocks 2024: Which NFL Teams Will Be Featured?

2024 will be a landmark season for Hard Knocks, HBO’s critically acclaimed series that takes fans behind the scenes of an NFL franchise. For the first time, there will be three editions of Hard Knocks in 2024.

Chicago Bears Selected For Hard Knocks Training Camp Edition

On Thursday, the NFL announced that Hard Knocks will follow the Chicago Bears during their training camp. This marks Bears’ first appearance on the HBO series.

“‘Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears will provide our ionate fans across the world the ability to experience this unique and critical time in the history of our franchise,” Kevin Warren Bears president and CEO,  said in a statement on Thursday.

The Bears were one of three finalists alongside the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints.

Excitement is brewing in Chicago thanks to the arrival of quarterback Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall pick in last month’s NFL Draft. The Bears enter the 2024 campaign with postseason expectations after finishing 7-10 in 2023.

Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears premieres Tuesday, August 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and Max. The five-episode series will run through September 3.

New York Giants To Be Featured On Hard Knocks: Offseason

This year, Hard Knocks is getting a spinoff. Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants will follow the Giants throughout the offseason as they prepare for their 100th season as a franchise.

This is the Giants’ first time on Hard Knocks. It will chronicle the team’s offseasons from January to July.

The will cover pivotal moments from this offseason, including the Philadelphia Eagles g Saquon Barkley and the Giants’ drafting of LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers.

Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants premieres Tuesday, July 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and Max. The five-episode season will run through July 30.

In-Season Hard Knocks To Feature Multiple Teams

Later this year, the 2024 edition of in-season Hard Knocks will focus on four teams in one division instead of a single team.

The division has not been determined.

In-season Hard Knocks began in 2021 with the Indianapolis Colts. The 2022 and 2023 editions featured the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins, respectively.
